Banco de bienestar adultos mayores

What are the supports to which an older adult is entitled?

In Mexico, the current government led by Andrés Manuel López Obrador, created a universal pension for the elderly in 2019. This support contributes to the well-being of the elderly and people with disabilities, since it is the obligation of the Government to guarantee the exercise of rights .

The objective of this pension is to contribute to the well-being of the elderly through the delivery of a non-contributory pension that helps improve living conditions and which in turn allows access to social protection.

All applicants over the age of 65 can apply for and receive said pension.
