For low-income families, having a loved one become seriously ill or suffer an accident often means facing an impossible choice: caring for their family member or continuing to work to survive. Medical expenses quickly grow, income is lost, and everyday necessities become difficult to afford.
Through our programs, we provide:
Free medical equipment loans
Adult diaper donations
Donations of medical supplies and wound care materials
Transportation assistance for medical appointments and therapies
This project supports vulnerable families in Mexico, primarily in the states of Nuevo León and Michoacán.
We help families in need reduce their expenses
We stay in touch with our beneficiaries and follow up to see if they qualify for another of our programs
We aim to provide comfort, rest and a fighting chance for recovery for patients at home
Together, we can make illness less painful for those who suffer, and for the loved ones who dedicate their lives to caring for them.
Edgar España is a young man with cerebral palsy who is completely dependent on his mother. Currently he is a beneficiary of the medical equipment program, the diaper donation program and the transportation assistance program.
